Pöyry experience
Mr. Ehrnrooth joined Pöyry in 1979 as an Economist in the Project Economics Department. During 1981-85 he was managing several research and development projects in Finland and internationally. In 1985 Mr. Ehrnrooth became partner and co-owner of Jaakko Pöyry Oy and was appointed President and CEO of the company in August 1986. In 1995 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Pöyry. Since 1997 he has been member of the Board of Directors of Pöyry PLC and in 1997-2002 he was Vice Chairman of the Board. Since 2003 Henrik Ehrnrooth has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
