Future airport concepts: Pöyry at Inter Airport Europe
Airport Cluster Finland together with Pöyry and eleven other member companies will exhibit at the world's leading trade exhibition for airport industry on 11-14 October, when the Inter Airport Europe event takes place in Munich Trade Fair Centre, Germany.
The Finnish Pavilion gathers together Finnish aviation and airport related companies to exhibit their products and services. In 2009, the event attracted over 12 000 trade visitors from 123 countries, and exhibitors from over 30 countries. The Airport Cluster members including Pöyry provide technologies, service solutions and R&D knowhow to airports worldwide.
On Wednesday 12 October, Airport Cluster Finland will introduce its newest development project "Airport Concepts" in an afternoon seminar. "Airport Concepts" combines products and services in a new innovative way creating turnkey solutions for airports. Interesting speakers and current topics will open up the idea behind the concept thinking. Architect Stefan Ochsner from Pöyry will give a presentation about "Conceptual Change in Airport Design", discussing airports as hubs of travel, trade, design and innovation.
