Pöyry assumes overall responsibility for Primula's factory project in Finland

Pöyry has signed a contract with Oy Primula Ab for the implementation of the company's production and logistics project at Järvenpää, Finland. The project will be implemented according to Pöyry's real-estate development service model with a single contract providing the client with complete services. The value of the assignment is not disclosed.
Primula's new factory will house the company's production, logistics, sales and administration functions, and a lunch café and bread sales point. Pöyry's total delivery comprises project development, building site identification, investor search, rental and sales-related matters, complete design engineering, and construction management and inspection services. The design engineering will be implemented according to Pöyry's Integrated Design (PID) concept, which includes Pöyry's architectural, structural and building services engineering and project management services.
The contractors for the project will be selected later based on competitive tendering. The contracting approach will be tailored to the economic situation and the project's characteristics. Construction works are scheduled to start in the summer of 2009 and production in early autumn 2010. The total floor area of the project is about 14 000 gr-m2.
