The work will be carried out in cooperation with the Argentine company IATASA. Pöyry's share of the assignment is EUR 1.1 million.
The scope of work includes the review and approval of the detail engineering and the inspection and supervision of the works. The estimated duration of the service period is approximately 1.5 years.
This gradual rehabilitation of the General Belgrano railway network is part of the rail system recovery policy promoted by the National Transport Secretary. The first section of 40.5 km is in the province of Santiago del Estero and the second one, 38 km, in the province of Chaco.
