The project is a section of the new Main Line 5. It contains tunnel sections carried out using cut-and-cover method as well as top-down method, both inside the surrounding diaphragm walls, and one station, one depot and one underground widening area.
The new construction is tendered as Design and Build -contract and contains all relevant disciplines of the civil and structural part, except the rolling-stock and the technical equipment. Further contained are: Utility Relocation, Traffic Diversion, including diversion of the trolley-busses, taking out and re-establishing of the complete surface, including the roads and the groundwater control.
