Transmilenio, is a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system that will improve life quality of Bogota´s population and will make the capital a more productive and organized city

The TransMilenio BRT System has been developed using a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) concession strategy and has today seven trunk lines, 1,080 buses with 74 feeder routes and 114 stations in operation. The average number of bus passengers on rush hour is 170,565.

Pöyry is providing supervision services and technical, environment, social, legal and economic inspection of detail engineering, construction and maintenance of two trunk lines (Road 10 and NQS). The two projects include for example construction, improvements and maintenance of rigid concrete trunks, construction of links and pedestrian bridges, public space, canals, station and exchangers.
