Every day brings fresh and stimulating challenges
"As a child, I grew up in a small town in the vast countryside bordering Minas Gerais and São Paulo State. From my hardworking mother, I learned to be humble and resilient.
Since a young age, I developed a life-long love for the arts and languages. Both a dreamer and an executor, I envisaged an international career where I could use my language skills coupled with my emotional intelligence and creative flair to solve real world challenges.
Spurred on by my natural curiosity, a passion for puzzles and instinctive ability to read people I opted for a career in Law. In 2005, I graduated from the University of Helsinki with a Masters of Law (LLM) and later that year started working for Pöyry.
It’s now been a decade at Pöyry and every day still brings fresh and stimulating challenges. Based in Finland and working for Pöyry’s global energy business, I get to explore the world. From Asia to Middle East and from Latin America to Europe I am immersed in multi-cultural team working. I find this both inspiring and rewarding and get to use my Finnish, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
I also get to make a difference – everything in the world is connected with energy and it enables us to pioneer new frontiers. And when I’m not at work, I enjoy taking my dog, Nero, for walks in the forest and entertaining my friends with Brazilian BBQ."
