It’s awesome to see everything functioning properly
"Future-oriented solutions for our energy supply have to be flexible and environmentally friendly. Natural gas, renewable raw materials and thermal waste recycling all play an important role in this context. My expertise is on heat, process steam and residues used as source of energy.
My workplace is flexible - sometimes I spend a year on site, sometimes one and a half year in the client’s office or some weeks in Israel, China or the UK. Currently I work as head of commissioning for a large energy provider at a 150 MW thermal power station within Hamburg’s district heating grid.
It is my job to make sure that problems are solved fast and competently whether they occur in planning and engineering, project handling, commissioning, permission, documentation, or in tracking of requirements and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) -studies.
For these projects I coordinate interdisciplinary teams of Pöyry experts and suppliers. It’s awesome to see everything functioning properly. At Pöyry, everyone knows what he or she is talking about. I have never worked with such competent and experienced colleagues before.
I became part of Pöyry right after graduating from university with a doctoral thesis about fluidized bed combustion. We have an extremely cooperative and personal working atmosphere. We feel really well connected here."
