JAAKKO PÖYRY GROUP ADOPTS PÖYRY BRAND
The Jaakko Pöyry Group's entire business will be brought together under one brand, Pöyry. Accordingly, all Group companies will be named in a uniform manner, beginning with "Pöyry". They will also begin to use the common brand in all markets. The introduction of the Pöyry brand will be completed during 2006.
The objective of this change is to unite the efforts of the Group's extensive office network and to concentrate all communications clearly and effectively under one name. In addition to supporting the company's growth objectives, the change is designed to strengthen the Global Network Company concept and promote the company's international recognition.
Pöyry's slogan 'Competence. Service. Solutions.' sums up the company's objective to be world's best known consulting and engineering firm in the energy, forest industry and infrastructure & environment sectors. The client promise reflects Pöyry's commitment to developing its clients' business operations in all phases of their lifecycle and the determination to create a sustainable cycle of success for the clients and the company alike.
With the introduction of one name, Pöyry's business logo and visual identity will also be renewed. The new logo is available in electronic format under "News and publications" on Pöyry's recently updated web site www.poyry.com.
