Pöyry awarded about EUR 1 million piping engineering contract for Outokumpu

Pöyry's Industry business group has been awarded an engineering contract for the ferrochrome production expansion project by Outokumpu in Tornio, Finland. The value of the contract is about EUR 1 million. The work provided by Pöyry will be carried out in 2011. Pöyry's services cover the detail piping engineering of the expansion project.
The F3 expansion project will double Outokumpu's ferrochrome production capacity in Finland. This project is a natural continuation of the long-term cooperation between Outokumpu and Pöyry. This assignment strengthens Pöyry's position as provider of engineering and project services to the minerals and metals processing industries.
