Pöyry signs long-term service agreement with Larox

Pöyry has signed a long-term service agreement with Larox Corporation, Finland for the supply of engineering and project services. Co-operation assignments representing the highest technology in the field will be carried out on a global scope at Pöyry's offices in Europe, Russia, Australia, Asia, South Africa, North and South America. The contract value is not disclosed.
Pöyry's services comprise project management, engineering, procurement and construction management services in all phases of the lifecycle of Larox's investment projects as well as similar services for the operating plants of the end customer.
Larox's aim is to concentrate on developing and expanding its business operations as a technology and after sales services supplier as well as on expanding the services towards complete filtration plant turnkey deliveries. Co-operation with Pöyry improves Larox's own know-how and supports its growth strategy. Pöyry will support these aims by developing and updating its expertise in line with the engineering and project needs of its client. The requirements of the core businesses of both parties will be met by creating a technically and economically competitive concept for generating, improving and developing engineering and project services.
Larox develops, designs, manufactures and supplies industrial filters and filtration plants and is a leading technology company in its field. Companies in mining and metallurgy, chemical processing and related industries benefit from Larox's high-efficiency process technologies, products and solutions. This assignment strengthens Pöyry's position as an international provider of engineering and project services to the process industries.
