Delta-T Corporation has undertaken a new greenfield, corn dry mill ethanol plant in Ohio, USA that has the capacity to produce 60 million gallons per year of un-denatured fuel grade ethanol and 175,200 tons per year of dried grains with solubles (DDGS).
Pöyry's services to Delta-T included complete detail engineering for all process areas except the grain and DDGS handling systems. Process design was undertaken by Delta-T. Pöyry also provided site assistance for the construction phase.
A major tool used for the Coshocton project was the Bentley 3D modelling software. The approach was successfully used to minimise interferences as well as to achieve interdisciplinary co-ordination.
